Any Jaume I: Gandia, a foundation of James I
Historian Frederic Aparisi Romero reviews the founding of Gandia within James I's policy of resettlement and organisation of the territory, taking the phrase 'Hedificari fecimus et plantari' as its guiding thread. This is the series' central lecture on the origins of the city, at the Universitat de València's Gandia centre.
