SUMMARY:Cinema: «La voz quebrada»
DESCRIPTION:Release at Cines ABC Gandia of «La voz quebrada»\, an 88-minu
te documentary not recommended for under-12s. In the summer of 1936\, Fede
rico García Lorca and the young Juan Ramírez de Lucas planned to leave S
pain and start a new life far from a society that forced them to keep thei
r relationship secret. That journey never happened: weeks later\, Lorca wa
s murdered in Granada at the start of the Civil War. Ninety years on\, Man
uel Menchón's documentary recovers that truncated story and explores an i
ntimate\, loving dimension of Lorca linked to the last months of his life.
