Talk by Pedro Cabrera: “Vivir sin hogar en una sociedad rica”
Sociologist Pedro Cabrera, a professor at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and an expert on social exclusion, opens Cáritas Interparroquial de Gandia's Homeless People Week 2026 with the talk “Vivir sin hogar en una sociedad rica a comienzos del tercer milenio” (Homelessness in a wealthy society at the start of the third millennium), on the causes of homelessness and the challenges it poses to society.
Monday 19 October 2026 at 8 pm at the Casa de Cultura Marqués de González de Quirós (Casa de la Marquesa). Free entry until full. Organised by Cáritas Interparroquial de Gandia. The week continues on Thursday 22 at 10 am with a public awareness event outside Gandia Town Hall (a performance and the reading of a manifesto).
