“La fòbia a la llengua dels valencians”, a talk with Ferran Garcia-Oliver
An open debate on the social situation of Valencian and the discourse against its use, subtitled “La diagnosi d'una ideologia hegemònica i una proposta d'acció”. Marina Macià, a member of the executive board of Plataforma per la Llengua, talks with Ferran Garcia-Oliver, doctor in History, professor of Medieval History at the University of Valencia and author of the book “Una i eterna. Sobre el nacionalisme espanyol”. The session takes the form of an interview with open questions and ends with questions from the audience. It is part of the Més Semicercles series, which Plataforma per la Llengua has run since 2024 across the Catalan-speaking territories and which returns here to the Valencian Country. The talk is held in Valencian.
