Triathlon: ICAN Gandia 2026
Gandia hosts the thirteenth edition of the ICAN Triathlon, the flagship long and middle-distance race in the Valencian Community, with all 1,500 places sold out and entrants from 25 countries. Saturday's racing starts from Gandia beach, with the start and finish in Plaza del Puerto (Av. de la Paz) and the transition area in the Av. de la Paz car park. Distances are Full (3.8 km swim, 182.8 km bike, 42.25 km run), Half —the regional middle-distance championship—, Short and Aquabike LD/MD. Race numbers and briefings are on Friday, with the prize ceremony at the UPV on Sunday.
Date: Saturday 17 October 2026
Start times: from 8 am (Full and Half PRO), then by distance and age group, with the last finishers expected before 11.30 pm
Venue: Gandia beach, start and finish at Plaza del Puerto (Av. de la Paz); transition in the Av. de la Paz car park
Race numbers and briefings: Friday 16, 12 pm to 8.30 pm, briefings at 5 pm (English) and 6.30 pm (Spanish) at Plaza del Puerto
Prizes: Sunday 18 at 11 am at the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Gandia (UPV)
