9 d'Octubre concert: Jorge Gumbau, “el Xiquet de Betxí”

A free concert for 9 d'Octubre, the Valencian Community's national day. Jorge Gumbau, a young folk singer known as “el Xiquet de Betxí”, presents “Barreja”, a show that revives half-forgotten verses and mixes jotas, fandangos, popular songs, ballads and malagueñas. He is joined by a band playing dolçaina, double bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo and percussion.

Friday 9 October 2026 at 7 pm in the garden of the Casa de Cultura. Free admission. Organised by Gandia City Council's culture department.
