Play Time: circus show by Chisgarabís and Kanbahiota at the Teatre Serrano
“Play Time” is a contemporary circus show created by Producciones Chisgarabís and Kanbahiota Troup, two Madrid companies that had already worked together on “La Rueda” and “Volando Vengo”. Four acrobats (Gonzalo Menéndez, Nerea Márquez, Marcos García and Rossina Castelli) play on a large half-moon structure that becomes a boat, a slide and a swing, mixing acrobatics, clowning and original music by Jesús Rojas “Lápiz”. Directed by Irene Poveda, the piece draws on the medieval tale of the ship of fools and on the way children play: with no goal, no clock and a taste for risk. It runs for about 50 minutes and is suitable for all ages; in 2026 it has played at Madrid's Teatro Circo Price and the Cirkorama festival in Málaga.
Monday 5 October 2026 at 8 pm in Hall A of the Teatre Serrano (Passeig de les Germanies, 29, Gandia). Programmed by Gandia City Council. Suitable for all ages; running time around 50 minutes. Tickets are sold through Vivaticket; prices had not been published when this listing was written.
