«Poemes de mitja lluna»: poetry and music at the Palau Ducal
As part of the special programme for the Any Jaume I, the CEIC Alfons el Vell presents the musical and poetic show «Poemes de mitja lluna» at the Palau Ducal. The recital brings back the memory of al-Andalus through words and music: two reciters and a musician build a sound bridge that is still alive between two cultures and evoke Andalusian poetry in its many genres, from panegyric to bacchic, from descriptive to elegiac. The performers are medieval-instrument specialist Jota Martínez, the poet and reciter Joan Femenia and the reciter Sílvia Tàpia.
