Extraordinary procession of Jesús en el Huerto in Gandia
The Hermandad de la Sagrada Oración de Jesús en el Huerto brings its float out beyond Holy Week to close the 175th anniversary of its foundation, as the centrepiece of the 18th Getsemaní National Congress, which gathers Prayer in the Garden brotherhoods from across Spain in Gandia. The Santa Cena Viviente, marking its 50th year, also parades, with the Flagelación drum band. A rare chance to see this float at night in the old town.
Saturday 10 October 2026 at 8 pm. It sets off from the Insigne Colegiata in the Plaça Major, next to the Town Hall, and winds through the streets of the old town; the detailed route has not been published. Held in the public streets, organised by the brotherhood as part of the 18th Getsemaní National Congress (8-12 October).
