Tardor Arqueològica 2026: guided visits including the Cova de les Meravelles

The Tardor Arqueològica 2026 kicks off on the weekend of 10–11 October with a new season of guided visits to Gandia’s archaeological and ethnographic heritage. The main novelty is the addition of the Cova de les Meravelles, an Upper Palaeolithic site with rock art, to the regular programme: it can be visited on the last Sunday of each month at 10:30. The guided visits to the Museu Arqueològic de Gandia (MAGa), every Saturday at 12:00, and to the castle of Bairén, also on Saturdays at 10:00, continue, as does the Nevasca/Morabit de Marxuquera, on the last Sunday of the month at 10:00. Bookings are made on the Visit Gandia website; the Cova del Parpalló remains closed for works.
