Guided tour of Gandia's Historic Centre

A two-hour walking tour through medieval Gandia and its development up to the present day. The route takes in the main monuments of the old town and traces the history of the Duchy through the most influential members of the Borja family, with stories and anecdotes: the failed project that gave rise to the city, the oldest remains of the walls, a 14th-century building still in use today and the historic irrigation channel running beneath one of its main avenues. It runs on Thursdays in September at 6.30 pm and is organised by Illeta de projectes. Booking in advance is essential.
