Getsemaní: 18th National Congress of the Oración en el Huerto brotherhoods

Gandia hosts the 18th National Congress of Hermandades y Cofradías de la Oración en el Huerto (Getsemaní) from 8 to 12 October, with 254 registered delegates from across Spain. It coincides with the 175th anniversary of Gandia's Hermandad de la Sagrada Oración de Jesús en el Huerto and combines papers, reports, cultural visits and religious acts, including an extraordinary procession through the historic centre on 10 October and the solemn Eucharist on 11 October at the Insigne Colegiata. Events are spread between the Town Hall (Sala Arcos), the Teatro Serrano, the Casa de la Marquesa and the Colegiata.
