The Fira d&#8217;Entitats, in the square, and the Espai Llibre de Muntanya, in the Centre Social de Marxuquera, open on Saturday from <strong>10.30am to 6.15pm<\/strong> and on Sunday 22 from <strong>10.30am to 2pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For families:<\/strong> a cycling gymkhana, the Espai Crian\u00e7a, a firefighting helicopter demonstration (Saturday, 11am), a beginners&#8217; climbing wall (Sunday, 10.30am to 2pm) and a children&#8217;s drawing competition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workshops:<\/strong> cardiopulmonary resuscitation, knots, edible wild herbs, insect hotels, bicycle repair, cyanotype printing and Nordic walking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Talks and presentations:<\/strong> books such as \u00abRewilding Iberia\u00bb, the scale model \u00abEls relleus de la Safor\u00bb and, on Saturday at <strong>6.15pm<\/strong>, the debate \u00abLa natura inundable\u00bb, on DANA storms, flood risk and land-use planning.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Music and food:<\/strong> \u00abRock al terrat\u00bb with Low Kost (Sunday, 12pm), a craft beer tasting and the <strong>closing community lunch<\/strong> on Sunday at <strong>2pm<\/strong>, with arr\u00f2s amb fesols i naps for <strong>\u20ac12<\/strong>. Tickets are sold in person only, at the SES headquarters (c\/ Pare Carles Ferri, 14).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Guided_walks_and_visits\"><\/span>Guided walks and visits<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Places on the walks are booked through the fair&#8217;s website; the Falconera walk is free, with compulsory booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saturday 21, 8.30am:<\/strong> \u00abCon\u00e9ixer la Falconera\u00bb, a circular route from the Morabit past caves and rocky cliffs to the Moll\u00f3 de la Creu. It is a demanding walk, intended for people with hiking experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday 21, 8.30am:<\/strong> the geological history of the Bassa de Pares and the tossal Red\u00f3, starting from the Ermita de Marxuquera.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday 21, 9am:<\/strong> an interpretive wildlife walk along the barranc de Lloret.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunday 22, 8.30am:<\/strong> serra Falconera, Pas de la Rabosa and Ermita de Marxuquera, starting from the Parc del Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday and Sunday, 10am and 11.30am:<\/strong> guided visits to the <a href=\"https:\/\/hotelborgia.com\/blog\/morabit-marxuquera-history-architecture-visit\/\">Morabit de Marxuquera<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/hotelborgia.com\/blog\/cova-les-meravelles-gandia-palaeolithic-art-visit\/\">Cova de les Meravelles<\/a>, with its Palaeolithic art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5th_Mostra_de_Cinema_de_Muntanya_at_the_Teatre_del_Raval\"><\/span>5th Mostra de Cinema de Muntanya at the Teatre del Raval<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>Thursday 26<\/strong> and <strong>Friday 27<\/strong>, from <strong>6pm<\/strong>, the Teatre del Raval hosts the 5th Mostra de Cinema de Muntanya del Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0, with <strong>free entry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Thursday 26:<\/strong> \u00abCinc anys de Fira de Muntanya de la Safor\u00bb, \u00abEl mestre marroquiner. Pastors del Pirineu\u00bb and, at <strong>7.30pm<\/strong>, \u00abJordi Pons, una vida d&#8217;escalada\u00bb, a documentary by Jaume Altadill about the mountaineer, born in 1933, followed by a Q&amp;A with him.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday 27:<\/strong> \u00abTurbio IV\u00bb, the story of a route on the big walls of Patagonia; \u00abGel vertical. 50 anys despr\u00e9s\u00bb, by Joan Quintana; and, at <strong>8pm<\/strong>, \u00abQue 20 anys no s\u00f3n res\u00bb, about the mountaineering group Dones Trangoworld, followed by a Q&amp;A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Climbing_rally_and_gravel_ride\"><\/span>Climbing rally and gravel ride<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marxuquera is one of Gandia&#8217;s climbing hotspots, with crags such as <a href=\"https:\/\/hotelborgia.com\/blog\/penya-roja-marxuquera-sport-climbing-gandia\/\">Penya Roja<\/a>. The week closes with two sporting events that require prior registration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saturday 28, 8.30am to 5.30pm:<\/strong> <strong>2n Ral\u00b7li d&#8217;Escalada de la Falconera<\/strong>, for roped pairs on the Cova Oberta (Boved\u00f3n), Boved\u00edn, Boved\u00f3s and Bovesponja sectors, meeting at the car park of C\u00e0mping L&#8217;Escalada. It costs <strong>\u20ac25 per person<\/strong> and requires valid sports insurance covering climbing, plus a helmet, harness and climbing shoes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sunday 29, 8am to 12pm:<\/strong> <strong>1a Pedalada Gravel de la Safor<\/strong>, a non-competitive ride of around 64 km and 800 m of ascent through Marxuquera, the area around Sant Jeroni de Cotalba and Terrateig, the coll de Martinent and the Rac\u00f3 del Duc, a spot also on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hotelborgia.com\/blog\/serpis-greenway-hiking-cycling-route\/\">Serpis Greenway<\/a>.
