On Sunday 15 November 2026, Gandia hosts the VII Cursa de les Empreses de la Safor-Cajamar, a 6.13-kilometre city race that can be completed running or walking, as part of a company team or on your own. The start is at 9.30 am on Avinguda dels Esports.

The race is organised by Club d’Atletisme Safor Teika and brings together company teams, professionals and individual runners for a morning of sport on the streets of Gandia.
A flat, 6.13-kilometre city course
The start and finish will be on Avinguda dels Esports, opposite Col·legi Públic Gregori Mayans, in the Corea neighbourhood. The flat city course, on asphalt, runs through the Corea neighbourhood, the Centre Històric and Parc d’Ausiàs March, where there will be a water station. The park takes its name from Ausiàs March, the classical poet connected with Gandia.
The finish control closes 60 minutes after the starting signal, a margin designed for anyone who prefers to complete the course walking at a relaxed pace.
Run or walk, as a team or on your own
Entry is open to different levels of fitness and offers several options:
- Company teams of 2, 3 or 4 participants from the same company, in men’s, women’s and mixed categories.
- Individual entry for company runners, the self-employed, members of professional bodies and an open category available to everyone.
- On foot or running, as the rules allow the course to be completed by walking.
The recommended minimum age is 16 and under-18s need written authorisation signed by a parent or legal guardian. Companies with 8 or more participants can arrange a single group entry.
Programme and bib collection
- Saturday 14 November, 11.00 am to 1.30 pm and 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm: bib collection at the Saló d’Arcs of Gandia town hall.
- Sunday 15 November, from 7.30 am: start area opens, bibs for last-minute issues and cloakroom on Avinguda dels Esports.
- 8.45 am: company parade with musical entertainment and a group warm-up.
- 9.30 am: official start of the race.
- 10.30 am: Valencian esmorzar for participants by the finish line.
- 11.00 am: trophy and prize ceremony.
Entry fees
- Early individual entry until 3 November: €10.
- Individual entry from 4 to 10 November: €12.
- Teams: €20, €30 or €40 at the early rate for teams of 2, 3 or 4 people, and €24, €36 or €48 at the standard rate.
- Additional esmorzar: €8 per person; it is worth buying the ticket when you enter.
Entry includes a bib with timing chip, a commemorative technical T-shirt, a bag with gifts from the sponsors, a water station on the course, refreshments at the finish and insurance. The event also includes a prize for the most original company T-shirt design and a corporate presentation video competition.
Practical information for race day
Gandia station, served by Renfe Cercanías C-1 trains, is around 500-600 metres from the start, a walk of 6 to 8 minutes. Anyone arriving by car can use the free municipal park-and-ride car park opposite Col·legi Gregori Mayans, with 184 spaces, and further spaces around the Poliesportiu Municipal. After crossing the finish line, the Centre Històric offers a good way to round off the morning with a visit to the Ducal Palace of the Borgia and other must-see places in the city of Gandia.
