The Dublin in Gandia is a long-established live music pub at Gandia Beach. Open since 1999, it has spent more than two decades building a reputation as one of the city’s best-known concert venues.

A live music landmark
Today, The Dublin remains firmly established on Gandia’s music scene, outlasting changing fashions and earning recognition for the quality of its programme. Lou Donaldson and Lonnie Smith have appeared on its stage, as has Corey Harris, who introduced Martin Scorsese’s documentary series on the blues. Spanish performers have included Carlos Tarque of M-Clan, Gran Wyoming, Virginia Maestro, the Tormo brothers of Los Zigarros, and Rubén Pozo and Lichis. Jazz drummer Jeff Jerolamon has also played here, alongside folk artists such as Mavi Díaz & Las Folkies, winners of an Argentinian Gardel Award, and local singer-songwriter Òscar Briz. Other familiar names include Jimmy Barnatán, as well as projects discovered by audiences here, including Crudo Pimento, Ricca, Junior Mackenzie, Chilean band La Big Rabia and La Doble Fila.
The venue has welcomed high-energy acts from many places: Japan’s 4 Zugara, Nave Nodriza, Los Malditos, Mexico’s Los Sustos and Thee Braindrops. Female bands have always had a place on the programme too, including Carmonas, Gachises and Argentina’s Amor Elefante.
Another essential part of The Dublin’s story is Graham Foster and the Wimbledon musician’s long-running Jam Session.
This is only a short account of The Dublin’s history. Generations of customers have grown up with the venue, and every new visitor becomes part of the continuing story of Dublin Live Music.

Its calendar combines late-night sessions, early-evening concerts and Sunday lunchtime shows, but dates, start times and ticket prices vary by performance.
